We have a lot of World War movies and Television series. Most of movies and TV series just show action and bloodthirsty violence up. Yet The Band of Brothers is the best World War 2 TV series that I have ever seen; in fact, I could feel soldier’s emotions. The Band of brothers describes War’s sadness, tragedy, and love. It also depicts the experiences of Easy Company of the 2nd Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment assigned to the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army. The series covers Easy Company’s basic training at Toccoa, Georgia, as they train for Operation Market Garden, and the Battle of Bastogne through the end of the war. There are good background music, amazing scenes, and compelling stories.
First of all, the band of brothers’ music is wonderful. The main theme, for example, we might feel friendship and love. It is warm and pretty soft when we listen to the main theme. We seem to be in our home. In addition, the second section of the music (Suite No.1) is powerful and activated. It describes dynamic power of brave soldiers. While listening to the music, one might feel the reality with of battle. And, finale of the swan music describes War’s sorrows, deaths and failures. During the battle, soldiers watched many friends die; survivor soldiers felt bad and sorry for them.
Secondly, there are incredible scenes. These scenes make the viewer’s experience the same sensation of the soldiers. For instance, a good scene is the scene at Bastogne in Central Europe. This scene shows the beauty of nature in the winter time with snow covered forest. The cold represents the human’s heart and mind. On the other hand, during the battle, when the blood covers snow, it represents warm’s humanity. We should love each other. It also indicates our mind because we have dual nature of good and evil. Also, a scene in the cities was very peaceful and important. Most of cities looked comfortable and cozy. Because there were a lot of memories of families, I think, director wanted to remind viewers about stability of home. Thus, D-Day was my favorite part of the sires. When soldiers tried to get in the airplane, everything was dark and silent. It seems to be the calm before the storm. I suppose, dark and silence inside the airplane foreshadows the battle to come. It makes viewer feel tension and involved in the war.
Furthermore, amazing scenes are harmonious with compelling stories. The scenes at Bastogne, for example, Easy Company went near Germany, despite shortages of food, ammunition, winter clothing and the medic. Eugene Roe, who does not have the necessary medical supplies to properly treat the men, met a kindly nurse. They did fall in love with each other, but they had never spoken their feeling. During the battle, Germany attacked paths of the allied forces; the nurse was killed by bomb at the time. Moreover, as Easy Company enters Germany itself, they find themselves confronted with the horrors of the holocaust when members of Easy Company across a Nazi concentration camp. The allied forces would think why we fight and why we are against Nazi. And soldiers would ask viewers to understand their stories. As a result, the band of brothers shows the pain of war, tragedy, and impresses up us.
In conclusion, the amazing scenes, compelling stories, and background music helps show the viewers the pain and tragedy of war, impressing this upon us. The music is warm and soft, powerful and activated. Also, the scenes show warmth of humanity and dual nature of good and evil. In addition the stories tell us about falling in love during the chaos in the battle. Those reasons make me feel soldiers’ emotion and get involved with them. This is why I watch the TV series.

Olympic Games
Markfox01 talks about Winter Olympic Games. Markfox01 thought that Winter Olympic Games waste money and time. His theology said that Olympic is not entertainment any more. However, I believe that Olympic is really fun, interesting, proud, patriotic, and effect of economy. First of all, Olympic has always intrigued me. There are a lot of games, such as Short track speed skating, snowboard, and figure skating. For example, Short track speed skating is really speedy game I have ever seen. They try to race a few track, but it makes that I feel pressure and exciting. In addition, Short track speed skating rules are really strict. For instance, if you touch your competition during race, referee will give you disqualification. Also, you have to follow the line and cannot touch the line. All of the rules make intensive for players and watchers. Secondly, we could have learned hope in the Olympics. In order to become a winner, a huge effort is needed. For example, there is Yuen ah Kim who is figure skating player. Yuen ah has been practicing skating for Olympic since when she was 14 years old. She usually practices more than 12 hours every single second; she has had a lot of injures. However, even if she has injured during the Olympic, she won and got the gold medal.

People believe that video games have a good influence on children’s behavior. Yet video games cause bad behavior; video games are unhealthy for their bodies, limit their social life, and increase their aggressiveness. First of all, video games have bad effects on children’s health. Children may spend less time on their activities, such as sports and exercises. For example, children become obese and develop skeletal disorders because they do not have enough exercise. Secondly, too much video game playing makes children isolated. Children may not have time for other activities, such as reading, talking with family and friends, and doing homework. Also, children might not study at home. Even if they are in school, they might think about playing games all the time. They could not focus on their studies. So they would get a poor grade in school.
Furthermore, the effect on children's health and their increased isolation are not the only effect of video game abuse. There is also an effect on critical thinking ability. This means video games may be more conducive to children’s aggression than obedience; children who play more violent video games are more likely to have increased aggressive thoughts and feelings. They could confuse reality and fantasy. They might watch people with anger, sadness, and fear. It could cause killings, shootings, and stabbing. Also, they may not respect people. For example, when playing games, they could pick up bad language. So they would use bad words when they talk to others. Eventually, video games could cause children’s bad behavior and negative thoughts.

Interpreting Music
When I listen to classical music, I often times had a hard time understanding the music. Their musical philosophy seems to be very deep for me to fully appreciate it, yet somehow the magical sound draws me to the world of classical music. First of all, when I listen to the music that is done by worldly famous players, the music easily flows out with simple expressions of feelings. For example, when I try to express some feelings through music, it seems it is very complicated to do so. Yet, when I listen to the music that is done by famous players, I would understand more easily. Secondly, the author emphasizes the simplicity in interpreting music. I totally agree with his opinion. Much classical music is very long compared to other types of music. And that is why many people feel bored listening to the music. However, once you understand its simplicity in expressing composer’s and player’s emotion, the music is not boring anymore.
Furthermore, understanding on music by famous musician and emphasizing the simplicity are not only interpreting music. There is also joining with music. This means, you get to join their musical conversation. You become excited, calm, gloomy, fanatical, sad, or just very content from their musical stories. The author says, “Ideally, a 10 minute piece sounds like a four-minute piece.” Once you start conversing with music, you wouldn’t realize how fast the time has passed. This is just like talking with someone you love. The time goes always too fast, and you want to hang on to every second. You don’t want the magical moments to be ended.
